This is a collection of four was roll carriers. Each carrier can hold six wooden containers for wax rolls. Three of the containers are missing. Some of the containers include notes written in Einthoven's handwriting. The content of the roll is written in a few words. The manufacturer supplied these notes, which made it possible to manage which groove contained what kind of information.The instructions read in German: 'Die Walze muss vor Ingebrachname leicht afgeschilffen werden, da die Walzen Hülsen wegen Mangel an Baumwollwattierung mit Cellulose watte gefütttert sind. Diese Fütterung ist etwas härter und kann leicht die Politur der walzen beschädigen'.
