Beschrijving
Blauwe catalogus: This cardiograph is one of the first commercial models to be sold on the American market. It was marketed by the American branch of the Cambridge Scientific Instrument Company. Although the Cambridge company itself made string galvanometers, this galvanometer was made by the American company Hinddle. This model is much reduced in size compared to Einthoven's model. It was presented to the physiological laboratory of Leiden University in March 1926, two years after Einthoven had been awarded the Nobel Prize. What is striking is the control panel attached to the side of this model. It is much reduced in complexity compared to Einthoven's originial.
