At secondary schools, veterinary schools and university education establishments there was a growing need for teaching materials for biology classes. Auzoux was a company that responded to this need by making a model of each class of animal. These models were used to study the classes of mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, crustaceans and insects. As an example of the fish class Auzoux made this bass. This model shows the muscles, nerves, blood vessels and internal organs. Vergroot model van een zeebaars van papier-maché. Demontabel aan de bovenkant, redelijke staat, afbladderende verf en beschadigingen aan de staartvinnen.
